"MIM is a post-rock outfit from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The name comes from a character of a classic Malay writing system called ""jawi"", where 'mim' is the 24th character. Debuted in 2015, MIM was formed through their love of story-telling through instrumentation. They have recently released a 6-track EP titled ""Runut Dalam Jeda"" (sounds within silence). Musically, they love to explore various possible ways of musical styles, which includes and not limited to ambient, noise, math, and cinematic."
