Surrounded By Water, an ambient/instrumental post-rock band from Minneapolis, formed in 2016 by brothers Robert and Josh Landvik. By 2017, the band soon formed into its full lineup consisting of members: Robert, and Josh Landvik on guitars, Cullen Berglove on bass, and Ben Thannum on drums. Together they attempt to capture emotion, and imagery by mashing reverb and distortion laden guitars. Releasing their self produced debut album "Relics" in late 2017, they would spend the next two years playing regular shows throughout their home state of Minnesota. In 2020 they teamed up with their friends Fix The Glitch (MN based post-grunge) to release "Split Personalities," a split EP recorded live at The Red Sea (Minneapolis, MN). Today, the band is currently in the beginning process of recording their 2nd full length release (title, and release date TBD).
