Since 2016, the Cologne band Noorvik has been combining spherical melodies with hard rhythms. The quartet merges dynamic arcs of tension with progressive song structures to create an experimental post-rock. Named after a city in Alaska, the debut album of the same name was released in 2018, with which Noorvik was already able to make itself heard in the local music scene: After several live shows in Germany, her second album ‘Omission‘ (TonZonen Records) will be released in October 2019, which Noorvik presented as part of a Germany tour in autumn 2019. On 'Omission' the band explores new extremes and continues to work on the path they have chosen, so that no post road will lead past Noorvik in the future.
